Below is a list of some of our services we provide to help you or a loved one.
TREATMENT CONSULTATION AND PLACEMENT
DTS offers a full complement of recovery services, assessment, and treatment placement options, often working through the majority of your concerns during the initial consultation. We are happy to work individually with either the intended client, family member, or friend. We will listen to what’s going on and make recommendations based on the clinical information received. We refer to programs we know and trust.
The assessment process begins by determining exactly what type of treatment is needed, which allows us to make the best recommendations specific to their needs and where placement is best suited. Some of the details sought in this initial consultation are:
The type of addiction. Is it a substance addiction (drug and/or alcohol), or a process addiction (disordered eating, sex or love addiction, gambling addiction, shopping addiction, among others)
Underlying mental health disorder. We want to determine if there is a co-occurring condition present with the addiction disorder, such as anxiety, depression, and other behavioral disorders.
Physical health limitations. It is important to know if the client has any physical issues that may limit the options for placement, or require special services.
Gender, age, specific preferences. We want to determine which type of clinical treatment setting is best suited for the client according to their age, gender and specific requests. For example, some people prefer a beach setting, others a mountainous setting. Some people want a simple, basic residential setting, where others prefer a lavish, upscale treatment setting.
After the initial consultation with the client and possibly an additional family member or spouse, we place the clients into a residential or outpatient treatment program based on all the information gathered.
We adhere to a strict Code of Ethics and are committed to the highest ethical standards and professional integrity when it comes to selecting the best treatment center for you or a loved one. We work exclusively with licensed and accredited programs that we, or our associates, have visited on site, and we do not accept payment, kickbacks or any form of reward from the treatment centers we recommend.

Recovery happens on a continuum. It is not an event that happens, but a lifelong journey to health and wellbeing. As they learn new communication skills they are then equipped to take responsibility for the relationships in their lives. As a result, families, loved ones, co-workers and friends become beneficiaries of Recovery Coaching as well.
Although our Sober Coaches are also Certified Recovery Specialists, they do not act as a client’s therapist. There is little emphasis on the past or related traumas and they do not diagnose or treat addiction or mental health issues. Rather, focus is placed on the client’s strengths, dreams, objectives, and the choices they make and actions they take each day.
The coach provides their expertise, guidance, skills, and own success in recovery to help define and support the steps that lie ahead. This dynamic between client and coach is what sows the seeds to enact powerful change that leads to successful day-to-day living. Our coaches ask the tough questions and listen carefully to the answers; helping to reflect back with clarity the client’s own intentions for themselves and their lives.

Case management is a long-term, integrative process and involves working with a trusted advocate to ensure that your loved one is getting the best care possible. We work closely with individuals and their loved ones to provide comprehensive, end-to-end support for their recovery needs. Our case management services include:
Treatment planning
Serving as a liaison with treatment providers
Providing professional, individualized clinical guidance
Guiding clients through each step of recovery
Planning for those next critical steps
Assisting with client accountability (drug testing and monitoring)

Our goal is to do more than just help individuals with treatment oversight; we aim to be an advocate and guiding light that helps improve the individual’s and loved ones’ quality of life, address co-occurring needs, such as mental health concerns or mood disorders, and ultimately help navigate the complexities of recovery to help people move past their addiction.
Our team of trained professionals has worked with treatment programs across the United States and abroad and specializes in addiction, trauma, and mental health. Regardless of where we meet you on your journey, our focus is on helping families sort through and answer the many questions that come with building a new way of life and a successful recovery program.
